I had the pleasure of volunteering at Goodwill throughout my years at North Carolina A&T. I completed a total of 40 hours.
My time at Goodwill was filled with different tasks including receiving the clothes, sorting through the clothes. Soon after that, I was pricing items and helping customers find items.
I was thankful for Goodwill for allowing me to volunteer at one of their stores. I always appreciated how they worked with the community and held events to help place people with jobs.
It was also an eye-opener to see how many great donations they got on a daily basis. It was surprising how many people would drop off full bags of unworn clothes and shoes. It left a great impression on me and made me a more appreciative person and more giving.
